David Bonacchi was an iconic golfer from the Rochester Area winning the 1994 NYS Amateur Championship at Cobblestone Creek C.C. Throughout his life David has served his community and has won or been a part of hundreds of golf tournaments and charity events throughout the area. David was known to many as the Golfer, Police Officer, Mayor or Judge but to so many more as a friend and mentor. David was diagnosed with Glioblastoma in June 2016 and after many tough months of battling this horrible disease, David lost his life on December 24, 2017. This tournament in honor of David Bonacchi is a way for family and friends to come together and honor his life and sacrifice along raising money to help prevent future cases similar to his.
